As technology continues to grow at an exponential rate, the overall wellbeing and quality of human life increases simultaneously.  This is made possible through both scientific and technological advances in the medical field. One issue has always been how can one make a machine small and efficient enough to be used in the average household, have it be cost effective, and have the machine reduce the need to go to the doctor. Although Apples newest invention, the iWatch, wasn’t solely designed to be a medical tool, it has the potential to be used in such a way that could increase the average life span of humanity.
